The vinification of grapes from the prized vine of Prugnolo Gentile, or "Sangiovese" 100% pure. The origin of the product from grapes from vineyards located in the most suitable areas of the area of Montepulciano. The vinification involves fermentation at a controlled temperature of 26ºC in stainless steel tanks with permanence on the skins for at least 15 days. The aging takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for 20 months. The aging develops for a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
The wine shows a garnet ruby red color. The scent is noble for elegance and presence, the nose reveals floral, feminine intense aromas of red fruits recalling ripe peach, marasca cherry and cherries, as well as tertiary aromas of tobacco, chocolate, vanilla cream. The taste in the mouth is balanced between the enveloping sensations and smooth tannins, without giving up a good freshness that contributes to make it long and juicy.
