Wine description
The Nobile Di Montepulciano "Silineo" of Fattoria del Cerro is produced exclusively with Prugnolo Gentile Sangiovese grapes according to tradition. Immediately after the harvest the wine begins to ferment in steel at a controlled temperature of 24-28ºC in contact with the skins. The wine is then aged for 18 months in barrique before being bottled.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
Garnet red wine with scents of red berries with a spicy and balsamic finish. Full-bodied and structured wine with well balanced tannins and a nice persistence.
Recommended pairings tasting this red wine
This red wine goes perfectly with traditional Tuscan food such as grilled meat and roast. Serve at 16-18ºC in a not very large glass.
