Merlot Terre Siciliane CUSUMANO

This red wine from the Sicilian Cusumano winery is made from pure Merlot grapes from the Presti and Pegni vineyards: this wine is part of the line entirely dedicated to the most famous pure grape varieties traditionally grown on the island. For its production, the bunches are hand-harvested and then destemmed. Thus begins traditional vinification in red with maceration, to allow the wine to acquire a characteristic ruby red color. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation and the final stage of refinement in steel.

Characteristics of this Sicilian wine

It has a distinctive dark ruby red color. The olfactory notes recall fruity notes of cherry, plum, blackberry and blueberry. Warm and soft on the palate, with a medium-persistence closure that echoes the fruity olfactory notes.

Especially indicated with red meat and game dishes and meat or cheese sauces. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
