From the vinification of 100% pure Perricone grapes. The origin is the classic Western Sicily, where the company Fina operates. The harvest takes place in the month of September with the grapes to the perfect degree of ripeness. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The aging of the wine develops in steel, and then for a further six months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
The aspect shows an intense ruby red color. The nose aroma has great personality in a precious spicy range, where juniper and black pepper are the main components, penetrating aromas of cherry cherry and jam, plums and cherries, and extraordinary vegetable touches. The taste in the mouth the wine stands out for its elegance, with a solid and soft tannic base, with a good alcohol content and with the characteristic of a long persistence, typical of quality products.
Suggested pairings tasting this wine from Fina Winery
A wine of Sicilian tradition particularly indicated with semi-mature cheeses, medium-bodied sausages, baked pork shank, braised meats, roast sauces and baked pasta dishes. It also pleasantly goes well with succulent fish dishes typical of Sicilian cuisine, such as: tuna alla ghiotta or grouper with potatoes. The optimal serving temperature is 18ºC.
