Made from 100% Nero D'Avola grapes. This native vine of Sicily is a reference for the territory. The origin of the vines, falls within the company and extends in the section of Western Sicily. The harvest takes place in the month of September in full maturation in order to ensure a good yield of the harvest. In the cellar the fermentation takes place in steel tanks; then follows the aging of the wine which also develops in steel, followed by six months in 3000 lt barrels.
Characteristics of this Nero d'Avola Doc Bio
The color is intense ruby red with violet reflections. The aroma is complex, with notes of prune, cherry, blackberry, black currant, and raspberry. The scent is enveloping, fruity of marasca cherry and raspberry, pleasantly balanced. The taste has a rich, broad and velvety taste, with great structure and aromatic persistence, with typical austere but gentle tannins.

A wine particularly suitable for red meat dishes and for some medium-aged cheeses, it goes well with succulent first courses. The optimal serving temperature is 18ºC in a wide glass.
