This red wine from the Sicilian Cusumano winery is made from pure Nero d'Avola grapes from the province of Caltanissetta,on Lake Disueri: here, the clayey and calcareous soils, together with strong temperature variations between day and night, guarantee a profound aromaticity. The grapes are harvested by hand during the harvest: this is followed by traditional red winemaking with final aging in steel.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
It has a ruby red color, with purple reflections. The olfactory notes recall ripe blueberries, spices and wild herbs. On the palate it is full-bodied, with a well-defined tannic texture and a fruity finish.
