Chardonnay from the Friulian winery Monviert is made from pure Chardonnay grapes: it is one of the most widespread white grape varieties in the world, having arrived in Friuli-Venezia Giulia around the end of the 19th century. The grapes harvested during the harvest are destemmed and subsequently subjected to soft pressing: the must obtained clarifies through decantation and the winemaking then proceeds with alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18-20°C in steel. Once fermentation is completed, the final stage of steel aging is reached for 3-4 months, which takes place with frequent movements.
Characteristics of this Chardonnay of Friuli-Venezia Giulia
