The tradition from Trentino and the passion of the Kettmeir winery exalt this fantastic white wine made by Chardonnay grapes. The white Chardonnay DOC Alto Adige Classico wine is an example of the Kettmeir winery and it includes all the characteristic features of the local tradition. The Chardonnay DOC wine is produced by a soft press of the grapes and the fermentation in steel tanks kept between 17-19°C. The aging firstly takes place on yeast in steel tanks until the end of January, then in bottles for some months before being definitively bottled for the commercialization.
Characteristics of the white Chardonnay by Kettmeir
It has a compact straw yellow color with a delicate and fresh bouquet of ripen Golden apple from Trentino and banana. The taste is dry, rightly acid, with a good body and it is also very pleasant.
Suggested pairings with the white Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC wine
This wine is perfect with both seafood then earthfood. It is very good with fish or with white meats. It has to be served at 14°C in tapered and tall wine glasses.
