The pinot Bianco DOC of the Kettmeir winery is produced by a soft press of the grapes and the fermentation in steel tanks kept between 17-19°C. The aging at the end of the wine making process is divided in two moments: firstly there is a rest on yeast in steel tanks until the end of January, then in bottles for some months before being definitively bottled for the commercialization.
Characteristics of the Pinot Bianco Alto Adige Doc wine
This wine is made by 100% Pinot Bianco grapes which give to this fantastic wine of the Kettmeir winery, very respectful characteristics. It has a straw yellow color with green reflections with a wide floral aroma of wisteria and fruity perfume of green apple. The taste is dry, very compact, with a good acidity, persistent on the palate with a mineral taste.

The Pinot Bianco DOC Kettmeir is perfect for light appetizers, but also with fathead minnow, crustaceous soups and asparagus. It is also good the match with light and fresh main courses. It has to be served at 14°C in tapered and tall wine glasses.
