Wine description
Chardonnay of Winery Tenuta Luisa located in Mariano del Friuli, comes from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The vinification is preceded by a short maceration for a few hours to allow the extraction of pigments and odorous substances found in the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for 12 days. Elevage on fine-grained lees for 6 months. Ageing in the bottle for a further 2 months.
Characteristics of Chardonnay DOC
The color is straw yellow. The aroma is fragrant and fruity with hints of banana and apple pippin. To the palate is very fine and delicate with a slight acidity.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Chardonnay DOC wine
Serve in goblets of medium size and temperature of 10-12°C. It is an excellent aperitif and perfect with appetizers, vegetable soups, risotto, fish and eggs.
