Sauvignon of Winery Tenuta Luisa, located in Mariano del Friuli, comes from 100% Sauvignon grapes. White vinification is preceded by a short maceration of a few hours to allow the extraction of pigments and odorous substances present in the skins. Fermentation takes place in a part in a tonneau, and partly in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for 12 days. Elevage on fine-grained lees for 6 months. Ageing in the bottle for a further 2 months.
Characteristics of Sauvignon wine
Its color is golden yellow. To the nose the bouquet is very fine and typical, recalls: sage, pepper and tomato leaf. It is a wine of great structure and at the same time offering excellent acidity.
Recommended pairings while tasting this white wine
Serve in goblets of medium size and temperature of 10-12°C. It is a perfect companion to pasta with strong flavors, seafood and shellfish, and spicy dishes.
