The Friulano "Manditocai" of Azienda Agricola Livon was born in the DOC vineyards of the Commune of Dolegna del Collio. The vine used for its production is Tocai friulano, cultivated on soils of marl and clay. The harvest takes place by hand in boxes; the grapes are then placed in the cellar in a press. The must obtained after pressing is collected in a stainless steel tank for 24 hours and then distributed half in steel barrels and half in oak barrels. After 8 months of aging in barriques, the wine is bottled.
Characteristics of the Collio Friulano
On the organoleptic test, this wine from Azienda Agricola Livon has a straw yellow color with golden reflections ; there are sweet notes of peach and nutmeg, with spicy tones. Pleasant and soft with the characteristic aftertaste of bitter almond.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Cantina Livon
A classic aperitif wine, it lends itself well to fish dishes but also grilled white meats. This wine should be served at a temperature of 12 degrees in a not very wide glass.
