The "Rassauer" Friulano is a wine of the DOC Collio range, coming from Castello di Spessa Winery. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature at 15ºC. Part of the must is kept in contact with the skins for a few days during fermentation, to extract more aromas. It is aged in steel until the end of March on the fine lees then in bottle.
Friulano Rassauer's features
Intense straw yellow colour with golden notes. The nose is complex and broad with fruity notes of apricot and peach, floral broom and minerals. On the palate great balance between softness, freshness and flavor with a long finish.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this product from Castello di Spessa winery
Excellent with San Daniele ham, boiled eggs and asparagus or omelet of spring herbs, legume soups or risotto with asparagus, artichokes or Radicchio di Treviso. We suggest you to drink it at a temperature of 12°C in a glass not very wide.
