This Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from Azienda Agricola Livon is produced in the DOC vineyards of Collio, more precisely in the Municipality of Dolegna del Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The vine used for its production is Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated on marl and clay soils. The harvest is done exclusively by hand in the box, then the soft destemming with subsequent fermentation on the skins for 18 days. The wine matures in barriques and is then blended and bottled.
Characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon
The organoleptic examination of this Cabernet Sauvignon shows a ruby red color; the nose predominates fruity notes with hints of raspberry and blueberry to which are added spicy hints and notes of licorice . The mouthfeel is soft, full-bodied, intense and persistent.
