This Chianti Classico Riserva from the Tuscan winery Querciabella is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes from a few parcels, located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level under organic and biodynamic agriculture. After the harvest, the grapes are pressed and left to ferment in French oak barrels with maceration on the skins for two weeks; subsequently the wine remains for almost 2 years in barrique and tonneaux.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
Upon organoleptic examination this wine shows an intense ruby red color; on the nose aromas of red fruits, violets and aromatic herbs stand out, but balsamic references are also evident. In the mouth it is soft and complex, with a persistent finish.
