This "Batar" from the Tuscan winery Querciabella is produced with international Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes in equal parts, grown in organic and biodynamic agriculture. After the harvest, the grapes are pressed separately, left to ferment in barriques in contact with indigenous yeasts and then rest for almost a year. Subsequently we proceed with a careful choice of the best masses to create cuvée; it is then transferred to concrete tanks for 6 months, before proceeding with bottling and aging in glass for another 6 months.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
To the organoleptic examination it appears as a wine with an intense yellow color; the olfactory notes refer to aromas of ripe yellow fruit, leaving space on the finish for hints of vanilla and spices. It is a wine with a beautiful structure and a good body with a long finish.
