From the vinification in blend of Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco grapes, strictly bred within the company areas. The vineyards are all exposed to East-South/East, in order to benefit from the optimal beneficial influence of the sun. Harvest by hand, in crates between the second and fourth week of August. The rosé vinification for the Pinot Noir grapes follows, with skin maceration for a few hours to give the characteristic pink color to the Cuvée. Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco are vinified in the traditional way, in a pneumatic press with separation of the first and second pressing. Fermentation and subsequent aging of about 7 months take place partly in thermo-conditioned steel tanks and partly in small oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation also takes place. Maturation and refinement require that the stacked bottles remain at least 24 months in the rooms of our cellars before "remuage". Subsequently opened and dosed "Brut" they receive the mushroom cap and the cage. Finally, at least two months of further refinement is necessary before placing this Franciacorta on the market.
Franciacorta Brut Rosé DOCG Mosnel
A powder pink color with golden hues. The scent is rich in notes of freshly picked currants and cherries, crunchy apricots and strawberries, peony petals and blood orange, with a delicate nuance of fresh almond and cotton candy. The taste is lively and sunny, dynamic in the juicy freshness of pomegranate and red apple, with a subtle and vital flavor.
