From the skillful vinification of 100% Nebbiolo grapes from Piedmont, Barbaresco area. Harvest by hand. Vinification involves alcoholic fermentation in oak vats with maceration for about 17 days. Finally the refinement which develops for at least 18 months in medium oak barrels. About 6 months in the bottle. This wine is produced only in exceptional vintages in a limited number of bottles and sold only on assignment.
Barbaresco Asili DOCG Michele Chiarlo’s features
A ruby red color, with some slight garnet and orange reflections. The perfume on the nose gives off aromas that recall red fruit, alternating with fine hints of cocoa, leather, nuts and licorice. The taste on the palate is juicy, full, rich, with an excellent structure given by the exceptional tannic grip. It closes with a persistent finish.
