Barbaresco DOCG Salvano is a Langhe red wine of great structure, characterized by an excellent quality. The grapes used for the production of this wine are 100% Nebbiolo and come from the countries of Barbaresco. The bunches of Nebbiolo are harvested by hand in the month of October, when the grapes give the maximum maturation. The vinification involves a long maceration to extract the noblest tannins and the most intense perfumes. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, these 2 years of aging allow the wine to have a high level structure, then the Barbaresco is further refined for 12/18 months in the bottle.
