Barolo DOCG Salvano

Barolo DOCG is one of the best red wines from Piedmont. Located in Monforte d’Alba region, vineyards are known as Nebbiolo da Barolo. Barolo is made from grapes gathered in October. Bunches are placed in cellar, in red wooden cases. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a temperature of 28-30°C, then wine is moved in oak barrels, where Barolo will remain for 2 years.

Recommended pairings while tasting this famous wine from Piedmont

It should be served in a wide crystal glass at a temperature of 18°C. Decantation is suggested two hour before serving to bring out its qualities. It can be paired with grilled or stewed red meat, game meatand aged cheeses.
