Wine description
Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC by Salvano winery is an Italian wine from Piedmont region. Grapes used to produce this wine come from DOC vineyards of the Langa Albese territory, in the region between Diano d'Alba, Alba, Castagnito and Guarene. Grapes are harvested between September and October. After the first fermentation, which occurs in stainless steel vessels at a temperature between 29 and 31°C, wine is aged in barriques for a year.
Characteristics of Nebbiolo d'Alba
It presents a brilliant ruby red colour. Delicate bouquet with rose and violet notes. Intense on the mouth with an aftertaste of vanilla.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine from Piedmont
It should be served in a broad glass at a temperature of 18-20°C. It can be paired with main courses with meat sauce, stewed or grilled red meat and aged cheeses.
