Produced for the first time in 1964, the Rosso del Veronese IGT "Campofiorin", labelled by the renowned and refined Masi winery, resulting to date one of the most classic wines of the tradition of Valpolicella and of enological Italy in general. Eclectic and versatile, it meets many gastronomic combinations. It rests at least 18 months in oak barrels of Allier and Slavonia. Simple and graceful, but majestic and strong at the same time. This wine is a guarantee from all points of view. The vinification involves the use of Corvina grapes for 70%, Rondinella for 25%, and Molinara for the remaining 5%.
Characteristics of Rosso di Verona "Campofiorin"
The wine has an intense ruby red color, with purple reflections. The scent is that of wild strawberry and dried herbs, which are mixed with sweet spicy nuances, and memories of candied orange, creating a beautiful bouquet. The taste opens with a round and complex sip, full-bodied but very good to drink. Excellent persistence.
