Wine list | Toscana Igt |
This wine was produced by Capezzana for the first time in 2000. It has been a bet, that today the winery has won. They decided to give value to the most important white variety of Tuscany: Trebbiano. The rich must is obtained by strict selections, short pruning, green and late harvest. The fermentation and the aging are developed in tonneaux made of French oak, that give to the final product intense and elegant scents. “Toscana Trebbiano IGT 2013” is a surprising white wine that is able to satisfy even after some years. It is produced with 100% Trebbiano variety, cultivated in the area of Carmignano, in the district of Prato. The harvest is planned in the middle of October. 10 days alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 18°C. The malolactic fermentation is managed in tonneaux made of French oak.
