The Chianti Classico Riserva Decennale BIO di Badia a Coltibuono comes from the vinification of Sangiovese grapes and other indigenous vines in small percentage. The place is that of Monti in Chianti, province of Siena where the vineyards of property of the Stucchi family extend, that since 1846 is the owner of the estate of Badia a Coltibuono. After the manual harvest, with a selection of the best grapes, the fermentation takes place with autochthonous yeasts resulting in maceration on the skins. The wine is then aged in large oak barrels for at least 24 months.
Chianti Classico Riserva Decennale DOCG BIO's features
The ruby color is very intense and concentrated. On the nose we can recognize the typical hints of black berried fruits and balsamic notes. The palate is warm and enveloping, but with tannins never too intrusive.
