Wine description
Vin Santo del Chianti di Badia a Coltibuono is a passito of Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, cultivated on clay soils of medium texture. The place is Monte in Chianti, in the province of Siena, where there is the Azienda Badia a Coltibuono owned by the Stucchi family since 1846. After the manual harvest, the grapes are left to dry on mats in well-ventilated rooms for a few months and then ferment and age for at least 7 years in oak barrels.
