Wine description
Vin Santo Del Chianti is a pleasant dessert wine. It is produced in the region of Chianti, on the slopes around Florence. Winemaking involves 3 months of grapes drying up on wickers, then wine undergoes ageing for 4 years in a special barrel called caratello, made of oak or chestnut wood.
Characteristics of Vin Santo del Chianti wine
It presents a yellow amber colour. Ethereal and intense bouquet. Velvet, sweetish and balanced flavour.
