The Syrah Henri of the Anselmet Winery is a red wine that well represents the territorial identity. It is obtained with 100% Syrah grapes, grown in Saint Pierre and Villeneuve on sandy morainic soils. After the manual harvest of the grapes, the must ferments in steel for 10-15 days and then it is stored first in steel for 6 months and then in barrique of different aging with bàtonnage for 18 months.
Characteristics of this red wine
At the organoleptic examination this wine shows a purplish ruby red color; the nose is a triumph of fruity hints of cherry and wild berries, combined with spicy aromas of licorice and black pepper. In the mouth it remains elegant, balanced and persistent.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this red wine
To be combined with first and second courses based on meat, both white and red; try it with game and aged cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a fairly large glass.
