Wine description
Verduzzo, of Winery Tenuta Luisa located in Mariano del Friuli, comes from grapes Verduzzo Friulano 100%, one of the oldest vineyards of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. The wine is made by cold maceration for 24 hours, with cold static decantation and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 12 days. Aging on lees for 6 months, which continues in the bottle for a further 2 months.
Characteristics of Verduzzo Friulano DOC wine
The color is golden yellow. The smell is characteristic of honey, linden flowers and ripe fruit. In the mouth, the characteristic feature is its tannins that blends with hints of sweetness and acidity.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Verduzzo Friulano DOC wine
Serve in goblets of medium size and temperature of 8-10°C. Excellent with desserts in general and pastries.
