Wine description
This extra dry sparkling wine from the Collefrisio Abruzzo Winery is made from 100% Passerina grapes, harvested towards the end of September. After destemming, low-temperature maceration is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel. This is followed by a new fermentation in autoclave according to the Martinotti or Charmat method.
Characteristics of this Abruzzi sparkling wine
It has a straw-yellow colour and an attractive perlage. The bouquet is reminiscent of apple, banana and floral hints of jasmine. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh and with the right sapidity, with a citrus aftertaste.
Recommended pairings with this sparkling wine
Excellent with fish dishes: warm starters, Linguine al nero di seppia, fried fish, octopus salad. Serve at a temperature of 6-8 C°.
