The Barolo is the Piedmont red wine most famous in Italy than in foreign countries. The Agricultural company Bel Colle produces this Barolo DOCG Monvigliero in the vineyards located in one of the greatest land of Verduno in the Langhe territory. The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo. After the fermentation, the refinement is for 3 years in oak or in chestnut barrels.
Characteristics of this Barolo Wine
Esthetically it has a purple red color with orange reflections. The scent is wide and characteristic and the floral and fruity flavors are joint to spicy aromas. The taste is rich but velvety, dry and rich with a perfect harmony.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Red Wine
It has to be served in wide wine glasses at 18-20°C. It is preferable to open it some hours before drinking it to exalt its qualities. It is perfect to be drunk with meat second courses based on red meat and game.
