The Barolo Chinato is a typical aromatic Piedmont wine produced by the Agricultural company Bel Colle, located in Verduno in the Langhe territory. It born from the Barolo DOCG and it is added a sweet and spicy infusion such as: cinchona, rhubarb and gentian which are left to macerate in alcohol for at least 30 days to extract the aromatic components.
Characteristics of Barolo Chinato wine
Esthetically it has a deep purple red color with orange reflections. The scent is intense, harmonic and they are recognizable the fragrance of the added herbs. The taste is pleasantly soft, velvety an equilibrated.

Its aromatic persistence makes it perfect to be joint to chocolate even to those more bitter. For its particular sweet-bitter taste it is used as elegant after meal and as meditation wine. It is suggested to serve it in champagne flute at 18-20°C.
