Produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, this Brunello di Montalcino from the Tuscan winery La Fornace comes from vineyards located at an altitude of 400 m usl, facing north-east. Following the manual harvest that leads to the collection of bunches of the highest quality, soft destemming and selection of the berries take place, then alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel. Aging requires a stay in 10 hl and 32 hl Slavonian oak barrels for a total duration of 36 months.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
The organoleptic test shows an intense ruby red color with reflections that tend to garnet. the olfactory notes recall plum, cherry but also spices and vanilla. On the palate the tannins are consistent but at the same time it is velvety.
