The name of this wine from Cantina Badia a Coltibuono is deeply linked to the historical roots of Chianti: Cetamura is in fact the name of an Etruscan settlement discovered near Badia a Coltibuono. Owned by the Stucchi family, whose ancestors in 1846 bought the Romanesque structure with the surrounding land, Cantina Badia a Coltibuono represents the very essence of Chianti. From the vinification of Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand, the vinification of this Chianti DOCG takes place with traditional methods in steel containers after which the wine remains in the bottle before being put on the market.
