Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG is an excellent red wine from Tuscany region, by Cantina Le Corbinie. It’s made from Sangiovese grapes. Bunches are harvested and selected, then fermentation occurs for 12 days at a temperature of about 28-30°C. After fermentation, wine is refined for 7 months in oak barrels. Then, after bottling, wine will age for 5 months in cellar, at a controlled temperature.
Characteristics of this red wine
It presents an intense red colour with violet reflections. Dry and long in taste. Bouquet conveys pleasant fruit notes.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Chianti wine
It can be paired with a multitude of typical Italian dishes from the land. It should be served in a wide and transparent glass at a temperature of 16°-18°C. Some minutes of decantation are enough to bring out its qualities.
