Wine description
This sensational label from the Abbazia di Novacella is produced from the vinification of 100% pure Schiava grapes. The origin is the classic one of Cornaiano. Vinification involves the fermentation with maceration on the skins for 5 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in stainless steel. Refinement is the classic one for young wines and is about 6 months.
Schiava DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
A pale ruby red color. The scent is fragrant and fresh on the nose, with clear references to small red berries. Taste is smooth to drink, with light body and good persistence, characterized by a pleasant almond aftertaste.
