This white wine from Trentino retraces the whole local tradition: it is in fact the result of a refined blend kept secret by the technicians of the Abbazia di Novacella Winery. The main grape variety used for its production is that of Kerner. The origin is the classic one of the Conca di Bressanone. Vinification involves alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Refinement develops for 6 months.
Kerner DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
A bright straw yellow color with greenish hues. Scent has notes of white pepper, spices, citrus, peach, apricot, aromatic herbs and mountain flowers. Taste is fresh, slightly aromatic, spicy and very drinkable.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Kerner DOC Abbazia di Novacella
A white wine that goes well with mixed salads, mushroom or egg dishes. Excellent with aperitifs, light appetizers, grilled fish. Try it with the spicy dishes of oriental cuisine. The optimal serving temperature is 10°C.
