This Gewürztraminer from the Abbazia di Novacella winery is produced with 100% pure grapes grown in the DOC area with Controlled Designation of Origin in the Conca di Bressanone. Harvest takes place with grapes at the perfect degree of ripeness and the vinification involves fermentation and maturation in stainless steel. Refinement extends for 10 months in steel tanks.
Gewurztraminer Praepositus DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
A straw yellow color with golden reflections. Perfume expresses notes of rose and lychee, cloves, vanilla, sweet figs, grapefruit. The taste on the palate is full, aromatic, characterized by a marked fruity aftertaste and a good persistence.

For the whole meal, perfect with curry-based dishes, goose liver paté, savory cheeses, raw fish and oysters. The optimal serving temperature is 10°C.
