Secondo Marco's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a red wine made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes and other native grapes. The manual harvest involves a careful selection of the best bunches which are then left to dry for a duration of 120 days; subsequently it continues with the phase of fermentation on the skins for 45 days and finally with the refinement for 3 years in large barrels and for 12 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Valpolicella wine
The organoleptic test shows an intense red color. Great olfactory balance with hints of ripe red fruit and jams, notes of black pepper and coffee. In the mouth it enters softly, since it is full-bodied and intense.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this red wine
It is an excellent wine to accompany game and stewed red meats or aged cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a large glass.
