Wine description
From a harmonious agreement of 60% Fiano and 40% Chardonnay grapes, cultivated in Nardò near Lecce, this Apulian white wine from Schola Sarmenti Winery is born. Located at an altitude of 30 m above sea level, the vineyards enjoy limestone lands, excellent fertility. During the harvest of late August are chosen the best bunches, then pressed in the absence of oxygen, followed by fermentation at low temperature and aging in French oak for 12 months.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It has a straw yellow color and an olfactory bouquet of fruity and floral notes. The palate impresses with a long, full and fresh sip, from the finish to the almond.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Puglia
Excellent with fish crudité and in general with all fish dishes. Serve at 12-14 ºC.
