Wine description
This red wine from Belisario Winery is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in vineyards located on the southern slopes of Monte Conero. The vineyards enjoy clayey soils and are between 10 and 20 years old. The grapes are harvested in September, followed by 18 days of maceration and 22 days of fermentation at approximately 22-26°C. The final stage of maturation takes place in large barrels and barriques for 12 months.
Characteristics of this wine from Belisario Winery
It has a ruby red colour and a pleasantly fruity bouquet with notes of plum and cherry, as well as floral notes of red rose. On the palate, it is smooth, tannic and has a long fruity aftertaste.
Recommended pairings with this red wine from Marche region
Try it with red meat and game dishes, but also with mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 12-14°C.
