Wine description
"Nauna" is made from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes grown as saplings in Nardò, in the province of Lecce from vineyards more than 50 years old. In the cellar they are then further selected on a modern sorting table. It follows a fermentation in steel at controlled temperature, the aging comes for 9 months in new tonneaux; then, 10 months of further aging in bottle.
Characteristics of this Apulian red wine
The wine has an intense ruby red color; The nose has a hint of over-ripeness, almost dense. You can recognize the plum and the sour cherry, sharp and well defined. In the mouth, then, you will discover a powerful red but pleasant to drink at the same time. An elegant wine with a long balanced finish.
