From a blend of Vermentino 85% and Albarola 15% grapes comes this wine that thanks to its intriguing color and its unequivocal name immediately echoes in the mind the sunny summer days. The grapes come from the vineyards located in Luni, near La Spezia: here the soils are sandy, with clay portions and the presence of pebbles. The harvest takes place at the beginning of September and leads to the careful and selected harvest of the best bunches, which then macerate for 5 hours at controlled temperature. Soft pressing with the use of the must only and cooling by natural decantation. The fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-17 ºC covers about 15 days with final aging in steel until February.
