Produced with 70% Negroamaro grapes and other vines in a lower percentage, this Apulian rosé wine has its origins in Salice Salentino, near Lecce: here the soils are of alluvial origin and are characterized by a conspicuous presence of limestone. After the manual harvest, the bunches are subjected to de-stemming and soft pressing, with maceration of 12-24 hours at a controlled temperature. Fermentation in steel and maturation in cement tanks lined with food resin follows.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
The organoleptic examination shows a cherry pink color with violet reflections and with olfactory notes that revolve around a bouquet of ripe fruit. On the palate it is fresh, savory and harmonious with hints of fruit, especially plum.
