This organic red wine from the Sicilian Nicosia winery comes from 100% Frappato grapes grown on the company's land at an altitude of 200 m usl, on sandy soils: here the vineyards benefit from a warm and breezy Mediterranean climate. This product is certified VEGAN and BIO in full respect of the environment. The harvest takes place in September and immediately the grapes undergo fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 22-24 ° C, with maceration on the skins. The aging also takes place in steel and the refinement requires a stay in the bottle for 2 or 3 months.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
The organoleptic test shows a ruby red color with violet reflections; the olfactory notes recall raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and floral aromas with a certain intensity. On the palate it is fresh and fruity, with a good drink.
