From the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grapes in absolute purity. The origin of this product, falls in the Tenuta di Vigne in Porrona of our property in the town of Cinigiano, in the province of Grosseto, 2 Km as the crow flies South/ East of Montalcino. The vinification involves fermentation with maceration in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with permanence on the skins for about 25 days. The aging of at least 18 months in 500 liter barrels. Finally, the aging develops for a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
The appearance of the wine is ruby red in color. The scent has the strong Mediterranean vocation of this Sangiovese is immediately perceived by the generous aromas of fruit with graceful balsamic nuances and small spicy notes of dried aromatic herbs. The taste is voluminous and warm with vigorous and ripe tannins.
