From grapes from the prized Sangiovese grape variety alone. The origin of the product is that which derives from the vineyards cultivated in the homonymous Estate of our property south west of Montalcino, on the historical side of Camigliano. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. Maceration on the skins for about 20 days. Aging takes place for 4 years of which at least 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 25 hl. The aging develops for 12 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
The wine shows a ruby red color with nuances tending to garnet. The nose is intense with hints of red berried fruits, macerated flowers, aromas of leather, incense and cocoa. The taste on the palate gives warmth and wrapping, with tannins fused in the body, in its development is clean and austere as well as in the finish of the mouth spicy and balsamic.
