From the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grapes. The origin of this product comes from grapes grown in the Nozzola Estate in the municipality of Greve in Chianti. The vinification takes place by maceration with délestage and pumping over in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. Duration: about 15 days. The aging takes place for 10 months in 225-litre French Oak toasted barrels with a turnover of 33%. The aging is developed for a minimum of 3 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Chianti Classico DOCG
The appearance of the wine shows a beautiful ruby red color. The scent has intense aromas of ripe red fruits and spirited cherry, combined with violets and delicate sweet spices, make up the olfactory picture. The taste on the palate is broad, full-bodied, but it moves with elegance in the light of a tannin that is excellently fused in the body.
