The vinification of 100% grapes from the Vermentino grape variety. The origin is the classic one of the Bolgheri area from vineyards cultivated in the Tenuta di Campo al Mare of our property. The vinification provides for fermentation at controlled temperature at 17ºC. Permanence "sur lie"; or on the lees for 30 days. The aging is developed for at least 4 months in steel. The aging is at least 1 month in bottle.
Characteristics of this wine from Folonari Winery
The appearance is a bright straw yellow. The scent has a pleasant and delicate olfactory profile that blends notes of lime, white peach, exotic and floral hints of sage and hawthorn. The taste on the palate is taut and direct, extremely sapid with a pleasantly citrine finish.
Suggested pairings tasting this Tuscan white wine
For characteristics it goes perfectly with seafood dishes and with delicate pasta dishes, even land. Try it with a plate of macaroni with pecorino cheese and pine nuts. The serving temperature is of 8°C.
