The grape variety used for the production of this sparkling wine of the Venetian tradition, famous all over the world, is that of 100% pure Glera. The origin of the vines lies in the Veneto area, in Valdobbiadene hills. Harvest is made by hand and in crate from the end of September to the first days of October. Then follows vinification of whole grapes with soft pressing and static racking of the musts for about eight hours. The sparkling process follows the Martinotti or Charmat method.
