This Cabernet Sauvignon "Roncalto" red wine from Azienda Agricola Livon is produced in the vineyards of the Collio DOC, more precisely in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The harvest takes place exclusively by hand and in a box, followed by soft destemming and subsequent fermentation on the skins for 18 days. The maturation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature; finally, it proceeds with bottling and a long aging in bottle.
Characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon Roncalto
This Cabernet Sauvignon Livon organoleptic examination shows a ruby red color; the nose predominates fruity notes with hints of raspberry and blueberry to which are added spicy hints. The mouthfeel is soft, full-bodied, intense and persistent.
Recommended pairings with this red wine
This wine should be served at a temperature of 18 degrees in a not very wide glass. Perfect to combine with structured and hearty pasta dishes, shellfish and seafood.
